Several cousins currently practice dentistry in MD. The family has honored Dr. Hauschka’s parents with a scholarship in their names at the University of Maryland Dental School.
“My passion and excitement for Dentistry has deepened over the years with the advances in technology which give us the ability to treat patients and their dental problems more easily, comprehensively and thoughtfully.
Dental Implants, for example, have completely changed the way we understand the future of dentistry and the way we plan for our coming needs. We expect to lose few, if any teeth; never have a denture, and always look great and function well. And now we can achieve this for our patients! To give someone their smile back, or the ability to chew again is life changing for them, and a privilege for me. It is an exceptional time to be a dentist, and a dental patient!”
In 2005 , Dr. Hauschka helped to lead a team of dental students through the Tikal Region of Guatemala, volunteering dental care to many in need of proper oral health. She is recognized as one of the leading restorative and cosmetic dentists in the Boston area.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hauschka loves spending time with her family, at her book club, and gardening.
